Share your referral code and earn at least $25 each time one of your referrals starts driving with Octopus.

Share your referral code or link with other drivers in your networks! Both your referral code and link can be found on your Octopus Driver App or web Driver Dashboard.

Follow your referrals on your Octopus Driver App or web Driver Dashboard. Once drivers sign up with your code, you will see them on the “Referral” section of your Driver App under Account Summary, or on your web dashboard under the “Referrals” tab! Plus, you can remind them to finish their application from the dashboard via email or text.

*For referrals to be considered completed, new driver must drive with Octopus tablet. Referrals completed prior to March 10, 2021 are counted toward OctoPro Levels but are not eligible for bonuses or adjustments.

Where Can I Find My Referral Code?

Octopus Driver App: Tap the “Referral” section of your Driver App under “Account Summary” to find your referral code and referral link.

Web Driver Dashboard: Log into your Driver Dashboard and click on the “Referrals” tab to find your referral code and referral link.

Where Can I Find The Information On Drivers I Have Already Referred?

Octopus Driver App: Tap the “Referral” section of your Driver App under “Account Summary,” and then tap “My Referrals” to track your referrals’ status.

Web Dashboard: Check the status of your referrals on your Driver Dashboard. You will be able to see where they are in the process of applying for their tablet. You can also send email or text reminders to encourage your referrals to finish their application!

I Referred A Driver, But I Don’t See Them Listed On My Referral Dashboard. What Can I Do?

New drivers must use your referral code when they are signing up (not your name) to be counted in our system. Sometimes drivers enter your referral code incorrectly. If you believe that to be the case, please submit a support ticket here and our team can help you out!

I Referred A Driver, But Haven’t Gotten Paid For Them Yet. What’s Going On?

If the driver is listed on your dashboard, but you haven’t received $25 yet, they likely have not activated their device. Drivers must properly mount and drive with their tablet before you will receive the $25 referral bonus.

If the driver is not listed on your dashboard at all, please contact our support team here.

How Can I Share My Code?

From your Octopus Driver App or web Driver Dashboard, you can simply click one button to share your link. You can copy your link to share anywhere you’d like!

If you meet a driver in person, share one of your referral cards with them! It’s best to prefill these with your referral code. Make sure to put a “/” through any 0’s you have in your code so they are not confused with O’s. If you need more physical referral cards, please submit a request here.

What Can I Say To Other Drivers?

Tell other drivers how much you love Play Octopus and why! Here are some of the main points you should touch on:

Tell them all about Play Octopus! A free tablet with games for your passengers plus data plan and accessories.

Let them know if you have received higher tips, better ratings, and better conversations with passengers!

Don’t forget to mention you get paid for your driving activity and passenger gameplay!
