We’re excited to announce that Octopus now offers the ability for drivers to link their Uber accounts! This feature is something drivers have been asking for, and we’re thrilled to bring it to you. By linking your Uber account, you can easily maximize your earnings and make the most of your time on the road with JourneyTV.

We do not have the option to link your Octopus account with other rideshare platforms at this time.
Once Link is complete, the tablet will be enrolled in JourneyTV, meaning you will begin showing the JourneyTV experience during Uber trips. This enrollment process will be completed within 30 minutes.
Where Can I Link My Uber Account?
The Uber Link feature can be found on the Octopus Driver app and the web Dashboard
Step 1: Open/Download the Octopus Driver app
Step 2: Tap Account
Step 3: Tap Manage My Account
Step 4: Tap Third-Party Linked Accounts
Step 5: Click on Link
Step 6: Enter Your Phone Number Used With Uber
Step 7: Check Text Messages For Verification Code
Step 8: Enter Uber Password
Step 9: Tap Allow
Step 10: Octopus And Uber Accounts Are Now Linked!
Where Can I Unlink My Uber Account?
Step 1: Open/Download the Octopus Driver app
Step 2: Tap Account
Step 3: Tap Manage My Account
Step 4: Tap Third-Party Linked Accounts
Step 5: Click on Remove Access
Important Reminders:
You must press “Allow” to grant Octopus permissions to your Uber account to trigger the Uber JourneyTV experience, as pictured below:
Heads up: You will receive an email from Uber about a new device login once linking is complete.
