From June 1st through June 30th, any driver who completes 100 JourneyTV Uber rides with their Octopus tablet turned on and connected will earn an additional 100 points, plus a chance to win $1,000 in a cash drawing.
This bonus program is a direct response to something we’ve heard from drivers over and over again: “Give us more ways to earn through the tablet.” This program is part of our ongoing effort to reward drivers who are helping us test and shape the JourneyTV experience. We’ve heard the feedback loud and clear, especially the desire for more income opportunities, and this bonus is one way we’re responding.
How It Works
- Complete 100 JourneyTV Uber rides in June with your Octopus tablet turned on and connected to JourneyTV beta
- Ensure your Octopus account and active Uber account are linked. To see which Uber account is linked, open your Octopus Driver app and go to: Account > Manage My Account > Third-Party Linked Accounts.
- Receive a 100 point bonus (Points will be awarded within 10 business days of the competition ending.)
Be automatically entered into a $1,000 cash drawing
This is a one-time bonus for the month of June

What’s a JourneyTV Uber Ride?
“JourneyTV Uber Rides” are Uber trips where your tablet is fully active and displaying Uber JourneyTV beta during a verified passenger trip! If you make a trip without your tablet on, it doesn’t count towards your total.
We’ll send you weekly progress texts showing:
Your current JourneyTV beta ride count
How close you are to the 100-ride goal
Drivers who complete the challenge will have a “Challenge Completed” badge added to their profile, celebrating your milestone and contribution to the JourneyTV beta. Please note: badge updates are applied in batches and may take additional time to reflect on your profile and will not immediately appear after reaching the goal.
