We’re kicking off 2026 with a major opportunity for drivers using JourneyTV, and January is your moment to jump in and win big! We’re awarding five $1,000 Grand Prizes to drivers who complete qualifying JourneyTV Uber rides this month. How It Works

Link your tablet to JourneyTV and keep it active while driving on Uber.

Each qualifying JourneyTV Uber ride counts toward your total.

Complete 26 JourneyTV Uber rides during the challenge window to qualify.

Once you hit 26 rides, you are automatically entered into the giveaway.
The Prize
Five qualifying drivers will be randomly selected to win $1,000 each.

Important Notes
Only qualifying standard JourneyTV Uber rides completed during this window count. Canceled trips, private rides, and non Uber trips do not count. Uber Shared (Pool) and Uber Teen rides are not currently supported by JourneyTV and will not count toward your total.
Why JourneyTV
JourneyTV trips earn more points per ride and are the only way to earn points beginning January 2026. Keeping JourneyTV active helps you maximize your earning potential on every eligible Uber trip.
Winner Selection
Five winners will be randomly selected from all qualifying drivers on February 2.
Payout Timing
Winners will receive their $1,000 prize within 10 days of winner selection.

JourneyTV $1,000 Giveaway – Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
ELIGIBILITY:
The JourneyTV Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of participation and who are active Uber drivers using a JourneyTV enabled Octopus tablet. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Play Octopus LLC (“Sponsor”), along with their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate or win.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Promotion begins and ends on the dates and times specified in the Promotion announcement. Only qualifying activity completed during the Promotion period will be eligible.
HOW TO ENTER:
JourneyTV is the primary focus as we kick off the new year, and this Promotion rewards drivers who activate and use JourneyTV while driving.
To qualify for entry:

Drivers must link their Octopus tablet to JourneyTV and keep it active while completing Uber rides.

A qualifying JourneyTV ride is an Uber trip during which the JourneyTV enabled tablet is powered on, connected, and displaying approved content during a verified passenger ride.

Drivers must complete twenty six qualifying JourneyTV Uber rides during the Promotion period.

Once the required number of qualifying rides is reached, the driver will automatically receive one entry into the giveaway. No additional action is required.
Important eligibility note: JourneyTV is not currently available on Uber Shared, Uber Pool, or Uber Teen rides. These ride types do not qualify and will not count toward the required ride total.
PRIZES:
Five winners will each receive one cash prize of one thousand dollars. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to complete an IRS Form W 9 or other tax documentation prior to receiving a prize.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion period. Winners will be notified via email or SMS using the contact information associated with their driver account. Failure to respond within the timeframe stated in the notification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
PRIZE CONDITIONS:
Prizes are not transferable and may not be substituted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release within a specified period of time. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the prize.
ODDS OF WINNING:
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, data transmission issues, or other errors that may affect participation. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if circumstances beyond its control compromise the integrity of the Promotion.
RELEASE:
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any claims arising out of participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of any prize.
