The Octopus Staff is packing up and heading to camp… without actually going anywhere (or even outside).
Watch the Octo-crew work another latenight shift LIVE on Tuesday, September 29th starting at 5:30pm ET, as Octopus HQ transforms into Camp Octopus for an evening of campground chaos competitions. And with plenty of chances for drivers to earn points and win prizes throughout the night, this is one camping trip you do NOT want to miss!

Every experienced driver has discovered a few things that make life on the road easier. Maybe it’s a clever vehicle accessory, a roadside service you swear by, or something so oddly specific that other drivers need to know about it. For the Driver Survival Kit, submit the ONE item, product, service, or personal creation that you consider a must have for your driving routine and tell us why it deserves a spot in everyone’s essential driver survival kit.
We’ll select some of our favorite submissions and invite those drivers to join us LIVE during the FALL Nighter to introduce their pick to the Rideshare Driver Community.
How It Works
Submit the one item you consider essential to your driving routine
Selected drivers will be invited to appear on camera during the FALL-Nighter livestream and give a short presentation about their item. This is your chance to show it off, explain why you love it, and share your recommendation with fellow drivers
Your presentation does not need to be formal or highly produced. We’re looking for genuine, entertaining recommendations from drivers who actually use these items on the road

– something you personally make or sell
– or something eles wonderfully unexpected!
*compensation will be provided to selected drivers after successfully completion their presentation.
The Campfire Meal
Show us what’s on the menu when your driving day is done and earn bonus points!
Every driver has a favorite way to refuel after the last passenger is dropped off and the shift is finally in the rearview. Maybe it’s homemade comfort food waiting at home, a drive thru order you’ve perfected over hundreds of rides, a favorite late night snack, or a gloriously questionable creation only another driver could understand. For the Campfire Meal, show us the meal, snack, or well earned treat that caps off your time on the road and tell us why it has earned a place in your post shift tradition.
Submit a short video sharing your Campfire Meal with the Rideshare Driver Community. If your video meets the submission requirements, it will be included in our Campfire Meal Showcase during the FALL Nighter livestream!
How It Works
Submit a short video showing the meal, snack, or treat you enjoy after wrapping up a day or night of driving
Maybe it’s your favorite late night drive thru, a home cooked dinner waiting for you, breakfast after an overnight shift, or a questionable gas station combination you will defend with your life
And don’t just show us the food! We want to see YOU, too. Make sure you appear on camera for at least part of your video as you show off your meal and tell us why it has earned a spot in your end of shift routine
Videos will be featured during The FALL-Nighter livestream as we close out the night together around the Camp Octopus campfire
Qualified submissions will earn +100 points
Video Requirements
– video must be 30 seconds or less
– you must appear on camera for at least part of your video
– show us your Campfire Meal and tell us what makes it your go to
– film from home, your parked vehicle, a restaurant, or wherever you safely enjoy your meal
– keep it fun, casual, and authentically you
