How It Works
From October 2nd – October 12th, “Battle of the Cities” will take over all tablets and offer exclusively Classic Trivia and Picture Trivia games for passengers to play. All Active Octopus drivers will automatically be assigned to a “City Team” based on the city your Octopus Driver Account is currently registered to. The total points scored for every game played will be added to the overall “City Score” for your team.
How Is It Fair?
Since the number of drivers and amount of available trips to give fluctuates dramatically between cities and impacts the overall rideshare activity in one area versus another, a one-to-one comparison of total points will not accurately reflect those differences. Therefore, the “City Score” for each team will be weighted, using the total Trivia points scored in each city against the overall number of Active drivers for that “City Team” so every city has a fair shot at victory, regardless of its size/population.
