JourneyTV will integrate seamlessly with your Octopus tablet and include new features that encourage better ratings and increased tipping. When you accept an Uber trip, Uber’s systems notify the Octopus tablet and provide a personalized JourneyTV experience. For every ride you give, you earn 1.5 points.
JourneyTV features new earning opportunities such as on-tablet tipping. Our initial readouts indicate that earnings from on-tablet tipping will more than outweigh any changes to earnings from games.
Don't see your points? Want to cashout?
The Driver Dashboard updates twice per day – once in the morning and once in the evening – not in real-time. Once you reach 250 points with Octopus, you earn a payout with Octopus that will be available to cash out via your Driver Dashboard.
Things to keep in mind:
- Your tablet must be properly mounted and plugged in to receive points!
- When you do not have an Uber trip, the tablet shows the standard Octopus experience, which is available for any non-Uber trip.
- Uber JourneyTV is available for all Uber rides, except for UberX Share and Uber for teen rides.
