I received an email from Octopus that my application screenshots were not accepted.

If you received an email that your proof of rides were not accepted, our application team needs a little bit more information from you before they take a second look at your account.

Our application team is currently accepting drivers who have driven rideshare for at least two months and are regularly completing at least 100 trips per month. You can upload additional screenshots for our team at: account.playoctopus.com. Our team may have requested additional screenshots from your rideshare app because:

  • Your proof of rides did not indicate you have driven for at least two months.

Our application team requires a screenshot that shows at least two months of rideshare driving. The following screenshots from the Uber or Lyft app will best help our team approve your application:

If you haven’t yet been on the road for two months, your application will remain on hold, and you can upload new screenshots for our team once you’ve been driving for longer.

  • Your proof of rides did not indicate you are completing at least 100 trips per month.

We require screenshots that indicate you have been regularly meeting our 100 trips per month requirement.

If you receive this email, please upload 3-4 weeks of your most recent full weeks driving rideshare to your application. These additional screenshots will help our team ensure that you have been recently meeting our 100 trips per month requirement. Your screenshots will look like the following:

  • You did not upload any proof of rides, or your proof of rides were incomplete.

Our team needs at least two screenshots from your rideshare app before they are able to review your application: A screenshot that shows the time you have been driving rideshare, and another that shows the number of trips you drove in your most recent full week driving rideshare. Once you upload these screenshots, our application team will review your account.
