We are thrilled to announce a significant update to your Octopus Driver App! A new feature has been added that will enhance your experience and provide an easier opportunity to earn bonus cash!
Introducing the new REFERRAL tab! This feature allows you to invite new drivers to join our special rideshare community right from your fingertips. Not only can you quickly share your unique referral code and track their approval progress, but you can also earn bonus cash for each successful new sign-up.
If you haven’t downloaded the Octopus Driver App yet, don’t worry! You can get it HERE.
To start, simply tap on the new Referral tab in your app. You’ll find all the information you need on how to earn extra money.

THERE’S A NEW REFERRAL TAB ON THE APP!!!!
In addition to the standard referral bonus, you will also receive an extra +$50 bonus for any new Octopus applicants you refer who begin an application between 2/20 – 3/3. They then must also be approved and activate their new tablet by 3/18.
How it Works:
Starting today (2/20), any new referrals you add to your pipeline by 3/3 will be eligible for you to earn TRIPLE bonus. Qualified bonuses will be paid for any new driver referral whose Account Status is ACTIVE by 3/18.
All bonus earnings will be paid within ten (10) business days following the end of this promotion (3/18). Standard referral fees will still be issued on time according to normal payment procedure.

Tips:

Letting drivers know how fun and inclusive the Octopus community is goes a LONG way to convincing a warry driver that we are legit. Show/post some of these great highlight videos of past events and engagements Octopus has hosted with drivers over the years to convince your referrals to join in!
“How To” – Proper Logs submission
Are you wondering why your referrals are not being approved for Octopus, even though they claim they have finished their application? There is a likely chance the problem is that their “proof of rides” driver logs screenshots are invalid. Encourage them to search their email inbox for an explanation of what is still needed by our team to approve them for a tablet.
Some common issues include:
- logs were unclear and did not show proof of the required ride total
- logs could not be verified with driver identity
- logs do not show regular, consistent driving for rideshare

Did you Know?
If any of your potential new driver account statuses are listed as “Pending Activation”, it means they have simply not yet reached the minimum activity threshold for their account to be recognized as “Active” in our system; encourage these folks to drive JUST a bit more with the tablet ON for you to receive credit. Referral Giveaway
Each quarter, we select one $2,500 Grand Prize winner from all the drivers that have referred at least ONE (1) new Octopus driving partner within the last three months. New drivers that count must have activated their Octopus tablet between 1/1/24 – 3/31/24. Also, those referrals must currently have an ACTIVE account status with Octopus to be eligible towards contest entry.
