Expert Account and Tablet Tips

Use this checklist to ensure your Octopus account remains in good standing and your tablet is always in tip-top condition!

  • Are you taking a break? If so, don’t forget to mark your account as AWAY on your Octopus Driver App or Web Dashboard to stop receiving low-activity notifications.

Your tablet’s battery health is of the utmost importance. Please review the following tips to ensure your tablet stays in excellent condition:

  • Make sure you are taking the tablet out of your vehicle when you are done driving to avoid battery issues. We also recommend you remove the tablet from your car when you park on the street.
  • Charge your tablet inside your home at least once a week.
  • If your tablet won’t power on, plug the tablet in for 15 minutes and reset the tablet by holding the power button and volume down buttons for 15 seconds: Tablet Reset Instructions.
  • Keep the tablet volume set to medium so you can hear if a passenger turns the tablet off.
