Referring other drivers is a great way to earn extra cash with Octopus! Every driver you refer who
receives and starts driving with their tablet earns you a referral bonus of at least $25!
Referring drivers is as easy as one, two, three!

SHARE your referral code or link with other drivers in your network! Both can be found on your
Driver Dashboard under the
Referrals tab. - FOLLOW UP with your referrals on your Driver Dashboard. Once drivers sign up with your code, you will see them listed under the Referrals tab. You can also remind them to finish their application via email or text.
- EARN CASH OUTS once your referral starts driving with Play Octopus! You will receive $25 when your referral activates their tablet and begins driving. Let the games begin!

Driver App Referrals
Octopus partners get paid for signing up new drivers to Octopus, with no earning limits! Every driver you refer who
receives and starts driving with their tablet earns you a referral bonus of at least $25.
Through the OctoPro tiered referral system, bonus payouts increase as you refer more drivers!

Open the Octopus Driver App:

Click Rewards at the bottom of the screen:

Click Refer a Friend:

Click Share to send your referral information:
Pro Tip: The new Rewards tab allows drivers to order referral cards. Click “Request Referral Cards” to visit the store where you can order cards for free or purchase other replacement equipment.
Referral Status Stages:
Your referrals will progress through the following stages:
- Driver Waitlist: Your referral is waitlisted because they are not in an active market or do not meet the 100 trips per month requirement.
- Driver Qualified: Your referral has completed the first application stage and needs to log in again to continue.
- Driver Agreement Completed: Your referral has signed the agreement but needs to upload payment information and/or proof of rides.
- Bank Info and Proof of Rides Submitted: The application team is reviewing your referral’s account.

Tablet Delivered – Pending Activation: The referral has received their tablet and is ready to start driving.
Note: Referrals need to gain points with Octopus before the referral bonus is paid. - Tablet Activated: Your referral has started driving, and you’ve earned a $25 referral bonus!
Common Issues with Proof of Rides:
If your referrals aren’t being approved, their “proof of rides” may have issues:
- Driver logs do not show proof of weekly trips or lifetime rides.
- No logs were provided at all.
