What is the Octopus Driver App?

The Octopus Driver app is the mobile application version of your existing Driver Dashboard website. Enjoy the same functionality as your web dashboard plus a few new features!

New App Features:

Login with Face ID or Fingerprint
Ability to change your contact information (email, phone number, etc.)

Other Key Features:

Check your points on the go
Cash out your earnings to a debit card, bank account or e-gift card
Set your account to “Away” mode for vacations and breaks
Update your tablet profile shown to riders and much more

What is the Octopus Driver App?

The Octopus Driver app is the mobile application version of your existing driver dashboard website. Enjoy the same functionality as your web dashboard plus a few new features!

Do I need to use a text verification code to sign in like I do for the website?

You will be asked to use a text verification code the first time you sign into the app, before you are asked if you would like to use your face or fingerprint to login the next time. If you enable this feature, you will not need to use a text verification code to login.

Can the app do everything the Driver Dashboard can do?

Almost! The app does not have the Referrals and Offers sections of the online version of the Driver Dashboard; these features and other new features will be added in future versions of the app. We are working to add these features to the app as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, you can check your referrals and exclusive offers from the online version of the Driver Dashboard at: account.playoctopus.com.

Does the app change how I earn points with Octopus or how my account functions?

No. Your tablet and account will function as normal.
